Protein intake for the day

Hi, my macros have been set at

Carbs - 142g

Fat - 52g

Protein - 213g

And I’m struggling to get all the protein in, already having a protein shake during the day,

Any suggestions on what I could add that would be lower in carbs/fats as they’re not an issue?

Thanks

I would adjust your meat sources to accommodate this but wait for experts to explan

Hiya,

This is what I’ve been having for breakfast if this helps

whey protein powder 30g

Porridge oats 50g

Almond milk 50g

Egg whites 75g
Blueberries 20g

Macros are 335kcal 35g protein 6g fat 37g carbs

Just microwave for a min stir and microwave for 30 secs your good to go tastes amazing :star_struck:

Egg whites are high in protein low in fat and carbs, cottage cheese, skyr and Greek yoghurt- (not to be confused with “Greek style” yoghurt- which is usually higher in calories, sugar/carbs and fats and lower in protein) …

I actually love the 0% Fage Greek yoghurt! I know a lot of people aren’t keen and prefer the ‘full fat’ one but I’ve got used to it and it’s my go to when trying to get more protein in the day

Yup, zero fat greek yoghurt with protein powder mixed in is a protein bomb for pudding. Zero cal sauces help if you don’t like the tartness.

Do you get supplied with a personalised macro split on the programme?

No but you can use the calculator in the members hub for a generalised one.

I use my fitness pal. You can set yourself daily calorie target on there and splitt you macros how you like.

You can scan barcodes of foods or search.

Log what you eat in the diary and track your macros that way

May try upping your meat intake, lean beef, chicken breast, fish, if your taking 100g may be try 150g or even double it. Just remember you kcals when doing this. Good luck :victory_hand:t3:

Tuna, egg whites, chicken breast (boiled), turkey breast, any non-oily fish.

Hey Ryan - I advise selecting lean protein sources - lean meat is the easiest option - chicken breast being a popular choice - selecting lean meats will give you the best protein vs other macro ratios. if your diet doesnt allow for meat intake let me know and I will make some suggestions. Another alternative is the WHEY HYDRATE mixed with your water intake during the day
