Community Week: Stronger Together🚀

Community Week

Community Week is a great reminder that success is rarely a solo effort. Whether in business, fitness, or personal growth, progress accelerates when we lean into accountability, add value to others, and actively support those around us.

Accountability drives results.
When we share our goals and commit to them publicly, something shifts. We show up differently. Knowing that others are aware of what we’re working toward increases follow-through, consistency, and ownership. Accountability isn’t about pressure, it’s about partnership. It’s about having people who check in, challenge you, and remind you of the standard you set for yourself.

Adding value creates momentum.
Community works best when everyone looks for ways to contribute. Sharing knowledge, offering encouragement, giving feedback, or simply showing up consistently all add value. When we focus on what we can give rather than what we can get, the whole group rises, and ironically, we benefit more in the process.

Sharing builds trust and growth.
Wins, lessons, challenges , they all matter. When we share openly, we normalise the ups and downs of the journey. Someone else may be facing exactly what you’ve already navigated. Your experience could be the reassurance or strategy they need to move forward.

Encouragement fuels resilience.
A simple message of support can change someone’s day - and sometimes their trajectory. Progress isn’t always linear. There will be plateaus and setbacks. Community provides perspective and motivation when individual motivation dips.

This week is an opportunity to lean in:

  • Check in with someone.

  • Share a lesson you’ve learned.

  • Celebrate someone else’s win.

  • Ask for support if you need it.

When we commit to accountability, generosity, and encouragement, we don’t just build better results, we build stronger people:orange_heart:

Well this week’s going to be different, away with work in Southampton so no access to a gym for a few days and will be eating out. Will try and make the right choices, but know it’s only a couple of days. So know as soon as I get back to it the damage will be minimal if any. Managed to get back on the Wattbike last week as well so all going well with the challenge so far.

It’s always so much harder when you break away from your normal routine! If it helps, maybe dedicate 30 min a day to body weight exercises and stretching so you‘re still hitting your exercise targets and if possible, try and eat out at places that have a calories menu (so many places have those now) That’s always helpful, then you can plan your meals before and stick to your goals

Will certainly take note of these, looking to get the daily steps in whilst i’m away. It’s the social side of being away i am not looking forward too. As i know it will probably involve far too many beers if i am not mindful. I am lucky and have a home gym setup, so have moved my sessions around a little this week already, its an early start tomorrow so done the planned CV session today on the Wattbike.

That’s the worst feeling - feeling scared of socials because you want to stay on track. I have totally been there and have at times completely avoided socials for that reason. But you have to enjoy life too! Low cal alcohol choices are things like small glass of wine, vodka and soda or diet mixer, gin and slim line tonic, or a light beer. A glass of water in between drinks can really help too! It’s good you’ve been able to figure out how to fit your works out in :flexed_biceps:t2: planning is the key!

:joy::joy::joy::joy: holding in a toot! Funny!!! You will smash it!! :flexed_biceps:t2: update us on Wed :raising_hands:t2:

Planning is definitely the key, its no that i am scared of socials……… I was in the Army for years and alcohol had been a big part of the social side of things and with that i can over indulge

over indulgence with alcohol is too easy especially if you’re having a good time and giggle! It might seem boring but sometimes not having a drink is a good option - if you’re in good company, you’ll still have a great time! Good luck! You will get through it and I’m sure whatever happens you won’t cause damage if you get back to your routine once you’re back :flexed_biceps:t2:

I’ve really enjoyed the community and checking in to see the progress people have been making.

Good to see where people have been struggling and offer advice when possible. I think a huge part of the challenge and something that has helped me is to look at my week ahead and plan in my sessions. If I can’t complete all the cardio in one go due to time I’ll try to microdose it to still get the total time done.

Hi everyone! I’m absolutely loving the challenge so far, it’s incredible how much a solid community can help keep you going :heart_hands:t2:

I’m nearly 5kg down so far and it’s starting to get tough so having the support and accountability from everybody to keep going is really helping me :folded_hands:t2:
