My why: my body image in my head has always been poor and I’ve never been good enough and my relation ship with food has for as long as I’ve know been bad and from a realy young age I’ve suffered with an eating disorder almost fearing putting weight on the gym has shown me a healthier lifestyle and being 10 months clear this challange is going to show me to me that I am strong and I can achieve something and give me some recognition for the hard work I’ve already put in I’m using this process as education and to prove my willingness and strength and that hard work really does pay off

My why is I’ll be going on stage in April for a tattoo competition and I want to look awesome there!

My Why: I went through my own version of a Body Transformation last year while having my second daughter - pram running through the hills of Cornwall led to a rapid weight loss, and over the whole year I lost around 30kg through diet, running and an average of 36,000 steps a day over my parental leave! Since I was 16 I’ve always been over 100kg (almost 120kg in Jan 2025), so for me to be sub 90kg now is very much new territory.

I feel like a lot of the hard work has been done weight wise, but I’m looking to get this transformation period to help me a) stay/be settled at this weight class, and b) get the composition changed to look sharper and get stronger & fitter along the way.

I wanted more motivation to go on a weight cut before I go on holiday in April so this is a good excuse.

Recent testing shows I need to improve my cholesterol levels too so losing weight and changing eating habits after the festive period will help with that.

I’m April I am 31 & mum of 4 :heart_hands:

My why… I’m tackling cptsd unmedicated & training is therapy it helps me regulate & makes me happy. Also to show my children what resilience is, be the best mother & role model I can be by breaking generational chains to give them a good start in life :sparkles:
