Hi, everyone!
I wonder whether people on the challenge do any other activities as part of their training apart from going to the gym (or walking to get their steps in).
I love Pilates, Yoga and dancing They are a part of my weekly routine as much as going to the gym.
Great Question! I’m someone who enjoys playing football, so when I can I really enjoy playing that to keep my exercises exciting and prevent them from becoming boring
That’s great Connor. And yes, variety is very important. I like variety in my training and my life!
Completely agree with you there!
Hi Adri!
Aside from the gym, I love to hike on the weekends in the Lake District, and do weekly Pilates and Barre classes🧡
I like to ride my motorcycle when the weather isn’t so bad. Apparently, it also burns calories.
Oh Anna, Barre classes - love them as well!
Anything that helps tone the body is good!
Sorry to disagree Rudy but riding a motorcycle doesn’t burn calories. My motorcycle riding husband would agree with you, though!
Oh and the Lake District…sounds beautiful- bet you hit well over 10,000 steps every time!
Morning,
Great question. When I’m not at the gym, I like to spend my time outside hiking👣 find it rather therapeutic and it’s great way to get the steps in too especially on a rest day.
Always on the go me and enjoy staying active!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Hi Adri, I love hill walking with our 3 dogs here in Scotland. I find it so therapeutic as it really clears your mind as well as being great exercise!
Hi, Janette, sounds absolutely lovely. I love being in the fresh air (so energising!) and can’t wait to visit Scotland - my husband keeps promising we’re going to ride our motorbikes all the way there - maybe I should just go without him!
Sounds great, Ella. I’m generally a busy go go go girl too and that’s why I love my Pilates and Yoga time Hope you’re having a great week!
Well if you ever get this far do let us know! We have a self contained folly in the garden that you’d be most welcome to stay in!
Thank you Janette, that’s so sweet.
We took 6 months off and rode our motorbikes around South America. Stayed in all sorts of accommodation - even slept under the stars in Argentina - but never slept in a folly!
Will definitely give you a shout and likewise if you come all the way down to Essex
