Has anyone tried the two-ingredient soda cake hack where you combine a box of cake mix and a can of fizzy drink to make the most moist, fluffy cake with no eggs, butter or milk required?!

Well, it works with the sugar-free versions too! And, since the sugar-free box contains slightly less mix, what better to keep the ratios of dry to wet the same (and provide an extra protein boost) than a couple of scoops of Per4m? :star_struck:

I mixed a 350g box of sugar-free vanilla mix with 2 scoops of Cherry Bakewell protein, 330ml of cherry tango and a handful of glace cherries (careful not to overmix as the fizz helps it rise!), then baked for ~20-25 mins in an 8-inch cake tin - it worked perfectly!

For breakfast, it was sweet enough on its own served with some yoghurt, but you could totally make a protein frosting or drizzle to put on top!

The best thing is the combinations are endless, a few I’m going to try next are:

  • Sprite and lemon cheesecake/key lime pie
  • Fanta and carrot cake
  • Apple tango and apple strudel
  • Cream soda and Neapolitan ice cream
  • Cola and chocolate brownie (with choc cake mix)

For 1/12th (not necessarily saying that’s my personal serving size :joy:) it’s ~140 kcal and 5.5g of protein.

A slice topped with half a scoop of whey mixed into a paste is ~200 kcal and 16g protein, or served with 150g high-protein yoghurt it’s ~250 kcal and 21g protein

Wow this sounds amazing! Please let us know how the apple tango + apple strudel one goes as that sounds delicious!

Simple but sooooo effective. 250g yogurt + 45g of the best protein powder out there. 334caks and 48g protein! Delish!
