Hey everyone!! How’s everyone feeling about starting? Have people started already?
Hi! I started on the fifth because i was sure that was the start date. Thought starting asap would help in keeping me motivated. Already went over my calories on day 2 by quite a bit but day 3 has been a success!
Have you started already? And how is it going?
I recieved an email today saying the challenges first day was today so I can see why others might not have started yet.
Morning! I started on the 5th too, slipped on the ice on Tuesday and hurt my back so Tuesday and Wednesday were “rest days”, back to it today though.
What do you all think about the training plans? I usually struggle to get motivated but the sessions are pretty exciting looking!
I am starting the training plan next week as I had already planned this week’s training schedule to ‘make up’ for less training over the Christmas period. The training plan is not dissimilar to what I do already, it’s actually fewer days so I’m not sure how to stagger them. Anyone got any ideas? Mon-Tues-Thurs-Sat maybe?

I also started on Monday 5th as I thought that’s when this began so I’m a few days early
but it’s going alright so far! Did upper on Monday and will do lower today after work. Hope you guys are all finding it okay too ![]()

I started at the weekend so a bit out of sync! I used to train a bit more than 4 times a week, but I’m excited to try something new! I think I’m just going to keep in on a rolling schedule of how it fits in with my days/what I’m doing after work rather than the same days every week, and I might throw in an extra session if I can!
I was thinking of doing a rolling schedule as well, I probably don’t rest enough but I would like to work out 5 days out of 7 if possible, so might do a timetable of
Mon-Tues-Thurs-Fri
Sun-Mon-Weds-Thurs
Sat-Sun-Tues-Weds etc
But then I’ll need to work it around weekend plans as well, so it will likely be a bit more ad hoc. Although one of the reasons for signing up was to try and be a bit more regimented about it, and to actually have rest days, which I’m not good at!
I started on the 4th so I could get my 4 training days in before working 3 night shifts, going to try and keep up my daily steps on work days. ![]()

Question about the calories, do we have training day and none training day calories?
I personally lower them slightly on rest days. I keep my protein intake the same but slightly lower carbs and fats on non lifting days. But that is just me, some others may keep it consistent so interested to see others takes on it.
I’m starting next week as I only signed up this week and haven’t received any of my pack yet. Hopefully this won’t be an issue!

You definitely need those rest days - gives your muscles time to recover and for the body to go again on the next session🥳 I promise rest days are worth it!
